Les Soeurs Charmantes Social and Civic Club recently celebrated 53 years of service on November 3, 2021. LSC has been a pillar in this community since its conception. The club was founded by Mrs. Melissa L. Demby on the monumental day of November 3, 1968. Mrs. Demby and our twenty-three founding members established this remarkable organization to promote service, philanthropic, cultural, and social interest to benefit the members and the community. I have had the privilege of being a member of this club for fifteen years. Now, I am honored to serve as the 2021-2023 President. I have the utmost respect for the women who have come before me to serve as President of this most prestigious organization. I am in awe of the work and the many things that they accomplished. It is my desire to continue the rich and long-lasting legacy of these phenomenal women.
